UUM4x4Sintok to UUM Sintok Lake

UUM Sintok Lake was actually existed since the shooting range development finished somewhere in 2009. Since then the lake is not really popular as one of the university attractions due to its hidden at the jungle and vicinity to the shooting range. 

I have made several entries in my facebook page about this lake in hoping that the management will look into this location. And yes, it has been in the eyes of Dato Seri VC recently when group of UUM photographers published their photos of this lake. However, as this place is located near to the shooting range, its a bit difficult to make it public. Nevertheless, I believe there is workaround to put safety in which the place may be opened during no shooting activities in the range.   

We at UUM4x4Sintok Club is also planning to invite 4x4 enthusiasts to come over here for camping and 4x4 event in this location in conjunction of Discover UUM 2016.

The location of the lake is marked below. Mind the name of the location as Persiaran Perdana, its a best nearest location name by Google Map.



Trekking around Lake

UUM4x4Sintok Trekking Expedition to encircle the lake. On March 19, 2015, Me and Mohd Tarmizi Musa did a trekking around the lake. It takes about less than 2 hours (without proper trekking trail) to encircle the lake. 

Opening the 4x4 Track to the lake

On September 16, 2015, Mohd Tarmizi Musa and I cleared the 4x4 hardcore track and camping ground at the lake. Then group of UUM4x4Sintok friends entered the track in the afternoon for our 1st camping at the lake.
